Kermie Wohlenhaus and other writers will be presenting 10-minute stories on Saturday, June 29th at 1-3 pm at Cornerstone Fellowship, 2920 N Geronimo in Tucson, AZ. The newly printed anthology, with all the writer’s stories called Telling Our Stories Volumn II, will be available hot off the press. It will be an inspiriing time. Hope to see you there!

Writer’s Retreat
I continue to write throughout the day, and one love I have is to go on monthly writer’s retreats. They are self-made-up retreats where I can focus on writing without too many distractions. I have 3 books in process and those out-of-town retreats can be extremely productive. One of the books is scheduled for an early 2020 release, so better go on more writer’s retreats this year. Yes!
I have also had recent opportunities to speak at writer’s workshops which are always inspiring. Writing is such solitary work and it is an honor to be of service and talk to other writers. At the latest workshop, the audience persuaded me to read my lastest published story at the end of my presentation. I didn’t have it with me, but one of the workship presenters had access to the internet and she pulled it up so I was able to read it from her phone. Technology is great when it works. It was fun to see people laugh at the funny parts and tearfully quiet during the message at the end. Of course, they were very kind in their applause. Thank you for that!
I love to talk about life as a writer with all its angst and surprises. Someday, I might even write a book about my writing journey, oh, that’s right, I have a writing journal. I guess that book is already started. Wow.
What a gift I give myself by writing. It isn’t so much about the sucesses as it is what I learn along the way. I learn something new each day I write, speak, or get out in the world with my work. Just get up and take a risk today!

Tucson Zine Fest – May 11, 2019

Zine Fest Pop-up Library is at University of Arizona Library. Cataloged zines from national and international zine artists featured. Performance at Cans in Tucson
December 2, 2018 will be a performance at Cans on 4th Ave in Tucson, AZ. Several writer’s, including me, will be telling their story called Bringing Our Stories to Life – the culmination of a 5-week Storytelling Workshop. An Anthology will be available as well.
I don’t perform stories very often, so it will be fun to be on stage in the lights again.

The Wasted Ink Distro, who carries my Zines in Phoenix, will be representing my Zines at the Phoenix Zine Fest October 28th at the Unexpected Gallery! I have 10 Zines at very affordable prices.

October 1st is the Beginning to a New Energetic Spiritual Cycle

Welcome to the exciting energy of a new spiritual cycle beginning October 1st. Yes, it is the shifting and new beginning of all productivity, creativity and activity. Something is in the air and it is coming with a flurry.
Today, let go of the old, thank the summer for all the gifts delivered and cleanup to allow this new energy in. It will be surprisingly different than what was happening just a few days ago. What your routine looked like then will drastically change tomorrow. And it will be a rapid intensification of energy that will leave the old in the dust.
You will be surprised how your world view, opportunities and days will look. Allow it all to happen in its time and space. It is always for your highest and best, even though it seems very different.
All is well, all is well. Say it often.
Go with the flow for we are in the mild rapids of change and it will smooth out as we assimilate this new energy. Enjoy the ride!
